Release Counselling is thrilled to have been awarded funding from Hollingdean Healthy Neighbourhoods Fund, as well as the Brighton & Hove Community Health Fund!
We are very happy to promote 6 new, short films which our partner organisation, ‘Into the Light’ has released for Survivors of sexual abuse.
The 1st- 7th February 2016 has been established as ‘Sexual Abuse & Sexual Violence Awareness Week’ giving chance to raise awareness about sexual abuse and sexual violence and how to prevent it in the UK.
As we approach Christmas, we also come to the end of the third exciting year of Release Counselling & Therapy for Women!
Our latest 10-week ‘Into the Light’ course for survivors of sexual abuse has ended in Brighton. It has been a fantastic group, and thank you to each of the women who took part.
Thanks to funding from Brighton & Hove City Council Mental Wellbeing Innovation Fund, we launched ‘Mummyshock’ 10- week counselling group for new mums between February- May 2015 in Brighton.
On Sunday 15th Nomenber, a team of 9 runners will be running the Brighton 10K in aid of Release Counselling and Therapy for Women.
Release Counselling and Therapy for Women is delighted to have been awarded a grant of £2,000 from Brighton & Hove Council towards our counselling services.
